We The People

Nationals 2018

These students from Douglas Freeman High School have qualified to participate in the National Finals of the We the People competition, a nationwide contest of knowledge about American government, history, and Constitutional Law.

Over three days of simulated Congressional hearings, the students will present research and answer questions that range from ancient philosophy to the powers of the president, from the Bill of Rights to contemporary immigration policy, from James Madison to Antonin Scalia. Please help make this possible by making a tax-deductible donation using the "Donate Now" button.  It will take you to a Henrico County secure server where you can donate in any denomination you choose. For tax purposes, please remember to print or save your receipt.

We appreciate your support!
